Teenage Panel

Got opinions? Want an audience?

We'd like to hear from you. In fact, if you're selected for our C–Note Teenage Panel, we'll pay $660 to listen to you for a whole year.

The C–Note Teenage Panel consists of high school students from all over the country who review a C–Note game and C– Note story each month. They also write one C–Note story each, and tell us what they think about our latest content and design ideas. They work from home and via e–mail.

C–Note accepts applications for new Teenage Panel members each May for one–year terms that begin June 1st.

I am a high school student with a lot of dreams. I have a part time job at my local credit union as a student teller and I love it. I have a small photography business and my hope is that I will grow my business in the future.

My favorite animals are dogs and I have five!

I also love the Oregon Coast and go there a lot to take pictures and walk on the beach.

Hello, my name is Elijah. I am a 17 year old junior attending Judson Early College Academy. I am enrolled in high school courses, as well as attending Northeast Lakeview College. I am currently the parliamentarian of our school's chapter of Key Club and a member of our school’s National Honor Society.

I also am a part of the Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union Youth Advisory Board.

I have a loving family who are very supportive and have taught me many things. I can rely on my group of friends to provide me with the help I need to get through even the challenging obstacles.  I love my family, friends, and pets and would do anything for them.

I hope that I can contribute to this panel with my opinions and be an effective member of the group.

I am 15 and a sophomore at North Central High School in Spokane, Wash. Soccer is my passion—I’ve been playing soccer since I was in the third grade and hope to never stop! I am also involved in school, playing soccer and softball, performing in a school production, and being on the cheerleading squad.

Grades are very important to me; I grew up with high expectations, which have molded my habits to this day.

I was raised with three brothers and one sister by my single mother so, naturally, money has always been tight.

I am interested in psychology and am considering going to college for something in that field.  If not psychology, I would love to be a physical trainer or do something in the area of sports and physical education.

I am Rachel; avid soccer player, good friend and one of four fabulous children. I live in the Midwest and like to travel and spend time hanging out with friends and family.

I hope to play soccer in college and study physical therapy.

I love music and getting food at Chipotle.

I believe it is important to learn about finances at a young age to avoid making mistakes with credit cards and to save for things you want and need. If you are determined and work hard, your dreams and goals can become reality.

I am looking forward to being a member of the C-Note Teenage Panel and hope to help other teens become interested in learning about money.

My name is Spencer.  I was born in , 1994, and I have lived in North Olmsted, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland) my whole life.  I have always been very studious, earning straight A’s and taking honors and AP classes.

Academics are not my only interest. I love music as well as aviation.  My first musical instrument was the piano, which I began at the end of second grade.  I began the flute in fifth grade, and since then I’ve picked up the organ, accordion, and three types of saxophones.  I play with my school’s marching band, wind ensemble, pit orchestra, and with my youth group at church.

I am very involved with my church youth group, as well as in my school’s Key Club and student council.

After high school, I plan on attending college and becoming a civil engineer.
