2003 marks the halfway point of the U.S. Mint's Commemorative Quarter Program. Every year, five states are featured on the flip side of newly issued quarters. By year-end, 25 of the 50 states will be represented.

The hardest part may be finding all of the quarters issued to date, especially some of the earlier coins in the series. Don't give up! Even if you were just a baby back in 1999, there's still a good chance some of the early issues are in circulation.
