Our story begins with the birth of a brand new five dollar
bill ...
Five Spot is just one of millions of bills printed by the
Bureau of Engraving and Printing. After printing, he gets stacked
in a pile with 99 other five dollar bills, which is bundled into
bricks for shipping.
From the Bureau, Five Spot and his new buddies will head to
one of twelve different Federal Reserve Banks located throughout
the United States. Though the Bureau is Five Spot's birthplace,
this new Federal Reserve Bank will become his 'hometown'.
Five Spot's hometown is identified by a unique letter and
number, both printed right on his face!
So ... Where does our little five dollar bill call home? He's
