Mom and Dad will do some pretty odd things to make sure you turn out all right. Have you ever caught them trying to sneak you something that’s good for you, but certainly doesn’t taste that way?

Take dinner time for example -- that big casserole looks harmless enough, but careful inspection reveals some of nature’s nastiest vegetables -- artichokes, cauliflower, and those ever-dreadful lima beans.

Will hiding those veggies make them more pleasing to the palate? Maybe, maybe not. But the fact is, your little brother is chowing down on his casserole, unaware he’s been duped. To him, things are what they seem.

… But maybe they aren’t that way to you. Don’t believe us? Fine. Forget everything we’ve been talking about for the moment and join us for the misadventures of three young students who do nothing but drive around all afternoon eating junk food.

When you’ve finished the story, we’ll tell you how it was more nutritional than you may have thought.
