NAME: Mallory
ABOUT ME: As a sophomore at Rosary High School, I love to keep busy and be around people. I am the happiest when I am dancing or being crazy with my friends. Running cross country and playing soccer for my school, however, are close seconds. I am always working to improve different aspects/areas of my life whether it's my attitude, physical fitness, or spending habits. I love trying new things, and being inspired by remarkable people. I love sharing my thoughts and experiences with others as well as hearing theirs. This includes comments on my blogs!
What’s On Your Summer Bucketlist?
June 15th, 2013 at 11:38 pm

How has your summer been going? I hope it’s been full of fun and adventures; however, if it has not been, have no fear! I’m here to help. Some of my past blogs have included various ways to entertain yourself throughout the year. Now, I want you to make a bucket list for this summer or a list of all the things you hope to do.

Write down your bucket list and put little boxes next to each thing so you can check it off once you have done whatever it is. Take ideas from any of my past blogs and include ideas of your own. Share what you will be doing this summer in the Let’s Talk box below! I would love to hear your ideas and add them on to my own bucket list.

After you have completed your bucket list, you can refer to it on the days you are bored or need ideas of things you want to do.

Some of the things that I am looking forward to doing this summer are having picnic and visiting the zoo and museum that have free admissions on certain days.

I also love bringing out the water such as going to a pool, running through the sprinkler,  washing the car, and having water gun and water balloon fights on those stifling hot days.

I’m excited to find good climbing trees, run on new paths that I have never been on before, go on hikes and bike rides, go fishing, and fly my kite.

Other boredom fighters include:

  • Volunteer at an organization (I will be volunteering at Feed My Starving Children hopefully).
  • Star gaze.
  • Make a wacky music video.
  • Try new recipes and crafts.

For more ideas check out my previous blogs: Bee a Busy Bee, Free and Green, What to Do, What to Do…, Fresh Ideas for the Fresh Weather, Wacky Why-Nots, Let’s Play, Summer Fun.

What is on your summer bucket list? Please comment in the Let’s Talk box below.

Definitely the children's zoo. they just re-did it, and it's supposed to be so cool. If I get tired of the animals I can watch the kids...
