Things waiting to be learned

Time on a real college campus can't be dull!
Go to college. Many college campuses in or around your area probably host a summer program for middle school students to take some exciting classes.
Check with your school for more information. Many of the programs are open to anyone!
Spend some time on a real college campus. That kind of learning can't be dull!
Master a new skill. Your local community center, recreational program, or YMCA offers classes on everything from pottery to gymnastics; swimming to zoology!
Ask your parents if it's okay to register for a class that sounds interesting. It is a class, but it's your choice.
Why not take up fencing? Consult the resident experts. Ask your parents if they have time to teach you a new skill:
- Gardening
- Cooking
- Changing the oil in the car
- Carpentry
- Sewing
- Repairing a bike
- Any other skill they may be able to share
They'll be impressed that you want to learn something practical, and everyone will benefit from spending time together.
But wait, there's more...
