Rylee, age 12

My name is Rylee and I am 12 years old. I live in Helena, Mont. and was born in Great Falls, three months before my due date. I was meant to be born in March, but was born on Christmas Eve instead. I was so small, I could fit into a Christmas stocking! But I’ve gotten pretty big now.

I play basketball, volleyball, and I want to get into softball.

I used to read a lot, but this year has gotten so busy, I don’t read as much anymore. I still love reading, and some of my favorite books are “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” by Rick Riordan and “The Tale of Desperaux,” by Kate DiCamillo. They are amazing books!

I also love to draw. I’ve been drawing/coloring since I was about 2. I’ve really improved over the years and I’ve been in about five or six art shows.

I also signed up to be an office assistant at my school this year, and I’m hoping I’ll get the position.

Sarah, age 12

Hello! My name is Sarah! I'm a 7th grader at Wadsworth Middle School.

I enjoy hanging out with my friends over the weekend! My favorite color is blue, my favorite food is macaroni and cheese, and I love running!

I have done some sports in my past like soccer, basketball, swimming, tumbling, and cross country. My favorite movie is “Twilight Eclipse.”

I think school is fun and I like math and English. When I graduate from high school I want to go to college and get a major to be a veterinarian.

I have one sister, two dogs, one bird, two bunnies, and lots of fish!

This summer I want to hang out with my friends and try out for fall-ball softball.

Kaela, age 12

Hi my name is Kaela. I am 12 years old and I go to Springfield Middle School. I have a brother, a dog, and a fish. My favorite subjects in school are English and Science. English is my first language but I have also learned some Spanish!

I do not play any sports. If I did play a sport, I would want to do either cheerleading, volleyball, or gymnastics. I love to walk but I hate running because I get short of breath quickly.

In my free time, I like to play outside, go swimming, draw and color pictures, spend time with my family, and play with my little cousins and my brother. I also love to read and try to read every day! My favorite movie is “Baby Mama,” my favorite food is ribs my favorite desert is vanilla pudding, and my favorite color is hot pink.
