"Scholarships! There are dozens of free scholarship search engines. My favorites are www.zinch.com (which also has a college-recruiting part), www.scholarships.com, and www.fastweb.com. Also, be sure to fill out your FAFSA! Even if you don't think you qualify, you never know, and colleges use this information to give you scholarhips of their own. Make sure you apply for scholarships that your college offers as well. Local scholarships are great resources too, and can usually be found on your school's website. They amount of money may be smaller, but they are easier to get, and trust me, every little bit adds up."
