Ember, age 12

Hi, I'm Ember! I'm the kind of girl who loves to do a lot of different things. A few activities I enjoy doing include sports (mainly track, swimming, and soccer), writing in my journal, reading, running (I'm training for a 5k), playing piano, spending time with my dog, acting, skateboarding, archery, snowboarding and skiing, hanging out with friends, dancing, listening to music, doing service for my church, and volunteering at nursing homes.

Recently I was in a play with my middle school drama class and really enjoyed the experience! I'm looking forward to participating in an acting camp this summer.
 
When I'm older I plan to do a lot of traveling around Europe and North America. I find trying new and exotic things very exciting. There aren't many foods I won't eat or places I won't go. I especially like camping in the wilderness and plan to go camping in Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario with my dad. I think hiking, boating, and fishing are amazingly fun!

Mason, age 12

I was born in Tulsa, Okla., in St. Johns Hospital. That was a great day because, well, I came into this world and I’m pretty nice and cool! So ya know…

I live in both Broken Arrow and Tulsa: with my mom in Broken Arrow, along with my stepfather, Gregg, and my half siblings Matthew and Kamryn, and with my Dad in Tulsa, along  with my stepmom Tiffani and my stepsister Savannah.

I am in 7th grade for the 2013-14 school year. I go to middle school but as the school district rezones I will be going to a new school.

Jordan, age 11

Hi!  I am Jordan, I am 11 years old and going to the sixth grade next year. I was born in San Diego but my parents decided to move back home to Hawaii when I was 2 and I’ve been here ever since. I recently moved from the island of Oahu to the Big Island—the biggest island in the Hawaiian island chain. I love being able to see the volcano, see snow on Mauna Kea during the winter, while at the same time being able to enjoy the sunny beaches. I enjoy Taiko Drums, tennis, and piano. I’ve been playing the piano since I was 4 years old and love music.

I love being on the computer, writing stories, drawing, and reading. I also love to play with my pet bunny, Thunder.

Nita, age 12

My name is Nita and I’m 12 years old. Some things I like to do in my spare time are read, draw cartoon characters, go on the internet, do math, and play with my dolls. I am usually energetic and bouncing with energy unless I’m in a bad mood, which is rare. I also forgot to mention that I like to tap dance and play sports like volleyball and basketball. I live with my mom in Texas and my dad lives in New Jersey. I love going to school. I do not have any favorite subject, I like them all, but I find English grammar confusing at times. Since I like almost every subject, my mom helps me find activities where I learn important things, like learning about money. This is my first paid job and I love the fact that I am learning about money while using the Internet.
