Rovers are machines designed to travel in space and land on other planets. They take pictures and study samples of rock and soil. In early 2004, two rovers landed on Mars. The two rovers -- Spirit and Opportunity -- gathered a large amount of data for NASA to study. These machines will help us learn more about other planets.
