Lucy SchmitzWhat real-life person do you consider a superhero? I consider my parents super-heroes because of everything they do for me. I also consider the camp counselors that work at Camp Tekawitha in Shawano, WI super heroes because they put their whole selves into making your time at camp amazing, and they care so much. When you’re not going to school or saving the world, what do you like to do? When I am not at school or saving the world, I like piano and clarinet and doing Girl Scout stuff (which is anything form service projects to riding roller coasters at Six Flags). In summer, look for me at camp. I love summer camp! If you received $100, how would you spend it? Why? I would spend it by paying for summer camp. Why? I am obsessed with summer camp! What money superpowers would you like to have? Why? I would like to be able to compute large figures in my head so I could instantly budget my money. Being able to have a tree that money grew on wouldn't be too bad either. If you could visit any place, where would you go? Why? I would visit Australia because I went there in June of 2005 as a People to People Student Ambassador and I loved it. Australia has a lot of awesome things to see. To top it off the people there speak English with a cool accent and their currency is colorful. If you visit any time, when would it be? Why? I would visit the year my parents were starting high school so I could see what they were like when they were my age. Whose face would you put on a $75 bill? Why? Well, I think my cat's face would be a pretty interesting look for a $75 bill. It’s cool when our country comes out with new ideas for the looks of our currency. What is one thing you look forward to in high school? Why? I am really looking forward to being in Roncalli High School's marching band. I love band, I am excited to try marching for the first time, and Roncalli's band performs at the state fair every summer. |
