Allison, age 13

Hi! My name is Allison! I'm a 7th grader who was born in South Carolina and I haven't moved since. During my time here, I've met a lot of great friends who I love to hang out with most days of the week. I don't do any sports, but I am involved in chorus at my school and I help out when needed at my church.

In my free time, I love creative writing and filming videos. I have had two things published before: a newspaper article for an economy class and a poem I wrote. With my videos, I create mainly series videos and music videos but I also sometimes make stop-motion videos. I even make some films for school! I also love reading. I read mostly mysteries and action novels like “The Hunger Games” and the Percy Jackson series. Music is my life―you can always find me listening to some song.

Emily, age 13

Hi! My name is Emily! I am a money-savvy, movie-loving, book-reading kind of girl. Whenever I can spare them, I let my creative juices flow. I love lists and doing things according to a schedule. (Otherwise, I would forget what I was doing.)

New experiences are a passion of mine. I love to try new things! Whether it is a new book or an exotic food, I'm all in. I also love to write because it gives me a great outlet for my emotions.

Ultimately, God is the center of my life. He's always there for me, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Helping out at my church provides me with a way to show younger kids about him. All of these things contribute to my character and make me who I am: a hodgepodge of everything a girl my age loves.

Talia, age 13

Hi, my name is Talia. I'm 13 and going into eighth grade next year. I love to write, read, and listen to music!

I spend a ton of time outside and I love animals. My three favorites are tigers, wolves, and horses. I ride horses every weekend at a small farm called Avalanche Ranch. When I get older I would love to work with tigers for the World Wildlife Fund.

My family consists of my mom and; dad, brother, Jesse, dog, Sterling, and my brother's lizard, Spot. My favorite book series are “Harry Potter,” “Warriors,” “Tiger's Quest,” and many more. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music but my favorite band is Green Day. I make some money by dog sitting and working for some friends.

I think it will be lots of fun to work for AJ's-- making extra money is always good!
