West

The wild West is home to these 10 real-life roadside attractions, and one not-so-real decoy. Match each attraction to its home state, and identify which attraction is the Tourist Trap -- a bogus locale we made up.

1.
Hell's Half-Acre
A gorge of jagged rock that appears almost alien; so much so, in fact, that the locale was the setting for the alien bug planet in the film Starship Troopers.

2.
Replica of the Simpsons house
Awarded as first prize in a Pepsi sweepstakes.

3.
Fake Fallen Backpacker
A life-size phony hiker who appears to have fallen from a mountain cliff.

4.
Second-Most Scenic Dump
This landfill wears its silver medal like a badge of honor.

5.
Paper Airplane Museum
Boasting more than 2,000 handheld gliders.

6.
World's Largest Squirting Clam
This 5-foot tall wooden clam kicks off the Annual Clam Festival with a spurt of water several feet into the air.

7.
U.S. Flag made of Human Hair
Four feet long and red, white and blue, this hair-flag decorates the window of a strip-mall hair salon.

8.
LolliStop Signs
A small town in this state has only 17 stop signs, but all of them are made of candy; these enormous red lollipops eventually wear away from rainfall and birds with a sweet tooth before they are replaced.

9.
Giant Walk-Through Human Heart
Educational, and creepy.

10.
House of Straw
Not directly affiliated with the three little pigs.

11.
The Big Stack
This, the largest smokestack in the nation, could fit the entire Washington Monument inside it.
