Fold the T-shirt in a way you would like the design to turn out. For example, if you want a vertical design, fold in the sleeves and the sides, do an accordion-style fold and secure it with a rubber band.

Then:

• Dip the shirt in a bucket where you have mixed in the dye and let it sit for 10 minutes.
• Take it out and let it drip.
• Dip in another color and let it sit again for 10 minutes.
• Take it out and let it drip until it stops.
