Navigate High-School Expenses
Remember to bring your student ID to get in free!
Throughout high school, we all seem to find new things that are continually piling on the costs—things from dances to dates, textbooks to text messages. For many of us, the cost of these fun extracurriculars might be more than we can afford.
However, managing your money can be easier than it seems.
School costsSome of these things might seem relatively cheap on their own, but the events can keep piling up. For instance, many of my school-related expenses this year include:
- Senior sweatshirt: $45
- Homecoming: $50 for a ticket, dinner, and transportation
- Football games: $5 for admission (free with student ID!)
- Graphing calculator: $80
- Replacing stolen graphing calculator: $80
- Parking pass: $30
This can get pretty pricey—especially if your parents are only willing to cover the basics (or none at all)...
