"This is very informative and very true. I'm currently in the application process myself, and it's a good reminder that GPA and SAT scores are not everything. "

"I whole heartedly agree with this film. Colleges love to see that their incoming students care and strive to achieve other goals outside of their everyday lessons. At my school, I am involved in our school musicals and our Forensics team. I also have a part time job at a local restaurant, both busing and waitressing. I enjoy all of these extracurricular, because they teach me how to use my time wisely, and help me to socialize with more people."

"I also agree that having a extracurriculars helps!"

"I definitely agree--colleges (and employers) love extracirriculars, especially academic, such as debate and Honor Society. Definitely try to have a leadership role in whatever club or organization you are a part of. And colleges especially love Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and you have even more of an advantage if you have completed your Girl Scout Gold Award or you Eagle Scout. "
